Chocolate marshmallow pops

The first thing you will need to do is put four of your marshmallows on each of your cake pop sticks. Put them on a parchment-lined baking sheet or a silicone baking mat. Remove the parchment from one of your caramel sheets, dip your finger into the glass of water and rub your finger around the marshmallow stick.

You may need to cut one of your caramel sheets to make sure that the whole marshmallow stick is covered with caramel. Now you are ready to melt your Ghirardelli dark chocolate melting wafers in a microwave-safe bowl. Melt your baking chips in 45-second increments, stirring in between each one.

Once your chocolate is melted, dip each of your caramel covered marshmallow sticks into the chocolate. Cover them completely, and shake off any excess. Roll your chocolate and caramel covered marshmallow sticks in the crushed candy canes until they are completely covered. Let the chocolate set before serving.

Not only do these candy cane marshmallow wands look amazing they will really make your holiday dessert table pop, and they taste amazing too! Marshmallows, caramel, dark chocolate, and peppermint all mixed into one delightful bite? Yes, please!

Looking for a variation to this holiday treat should one of your guests not be a peppermint candy fan? You could also roll these marshmallow treats in chopped nuts, they just won’t have all of the festive colors of the season.

  • 12 regular size Marshmallows
  • 1 package of Wrapples, caramel sheets for caramel apples
  • 1 10 oz bag of Ghirardelli dark chocolate melting wafers
  • 3 long Cake pop sticks
  • 1 C crushed Candy canes
  • 1 4 oz glass of Water

  1. Using the top of the cake pop stick, push 4 jumbo marshmallows onto the lollipop stick.

  3. Place the marshmallow pops onto a baking sheet lined with a silicone baking mat or parchment paper.
  4. Carefully remove the parchment paper from 1 sheet of the caramel wrapple.
  5. Dip your finger into the glass of water and rub your finger around the marshmallow stick to dampen the caramel and make it pliable.

  8. Dip the caramel wrapped marshmallows in the chocolate, coating the whole area, then tap the stick lightly on the side of the bowl to get rid of any extra chocolate.
  9. Roll the marshmallow wand in the crushed candy canes, or use a spoon to sprinkle them over the lollipop to coat the chocolate completely in peppermint.
  10. Place the pop onto the baking sheet and put the cookie sheet into the fridge for 15 minutes to allow the chocolate to harden.
