Who says that Halloween treats recipes need to be fancy and complicated? You can whip up these adorable Halloween ghost pretzels in no time and they are sure to be a salty sweet hit with the entire family!

Chocolate Dipped Ghost Pretzels

October is the perfect month for all things spooky and it is a great month to make all the fun and kooky treats! No need to stick to boring old Halloween candy when you can easily make batches upon batches of your own homemade scary good treats! These ghostly delights are sure to have your mouth watering like a ghastly ghoul. Also, since they are so easy to make they are for sure to become a staple in your household every year around Halloween time!

How to Make Ghost Pretzels

White chocolate ghost pretzels are so easy to make that the kiddos can have fun getting in the kitchen with you to help you make these. They will especially love the little eyeball candies! These delicious treats use white chocolate and the sweet taste of the chocolate mixed with the saltiness of the pretzels is insanely tasty!

To make the ghosts, simply:

  • melt the white chocolate
  • dip the pretzels in the chocolate
  • place them on a parchment paper lined baking sheet
  • decorate with candy eyeballs
  • then let them set in the fridge for about 15 minutes

And that is it! So simple yet so effective and delicious! I mean, how could you resist these little pretzel ghosts?!

Halloween Pretzel Ghost Tips

These are great to make ahead of time and store in an airtight container in the fridge for when those sweet tooth cravings hit!

If you want to get really festive, try using green or orange candy melts instead of white chocolate. You could even use regular chocolate but I find that the white chocolate really makes the ghosts look spooky!

If you are not a fan of white chocolate, you could totally make these into your own creation with other types of chocolate. Milk chocolate or dark chocolate drizzled with some orange colored chocolate melts to make little chocolate covered pretzel monsters or zombies. You can also add your own toppings like colorful sprinkles and Halloween candy pieces.

The possibilities to customize this yummy Halloween snack are endless! Also, if you are on a gluten-free diet, you can use gluten-free pretzels and they will taste just as good.

You could even use pretzel rods or pretzel sticks and add the candy eyes if that is what you prefer.

Halloween Ghost Pretzels

Ingredients

  • White Melting Chocolate, Melted
  • Eyeball Sprinkles, any size
  • Mini Pretzel Twists

Instructions

  1. Melt chocolate in 30 second increments, stirring after each time. 
  2. Once chocolate is melted, cover both sides of the pretzel. Remove from chocolate and place on a parchment lined baking sheet. 
  3. While chocolate is still wet, place eyeball sprinkles on the face of the pretzel. 
  4. Let dry and enjoy.
