PF Chang's Instant Pot Lettuce Wraps

Craving some Asian-inspired cuisine? Whip up these PF Chang's copycat Instant Pot lettuce wraps in a quick 15 minutes for dinner!

Total Time 20 minutes

Ingredients

Lettuce Wraps

  • 1 pound Ground Chicken
  • 2 tbsp Olive Oil
  • 1 Onion, chopped
  • 2 Scallions, chopped
  • 2 tbsp Cilantro, chopped
  • 8 oz Water Chestnuts, drained and chopped
  • 1 head Butter Lettuce or Romaine Lettuce

Sauce

  • 1/4 cup Hoisin Sauce
  • 2 tbsp Low Salt Soy Sauce
  • 1 tbsp Rice Wine Vinegar
  • 1/4 tsp Red Chili Flakes, optional
  • 1/2 cup Chicken Broth
  • 1 clove Minced Garlic
  • 1 tsp Minced Ginger
  • 1 tbsp Sesame Oil

Dipping Sauce

  • 1 tbsp Hoisin Sauce
  • 1 tbsp Low Salt Soy Sauce
  • 1 splash Rice Vinegar

Instructions

  1. Press sauté mode on Instant Pot.
  2. Sauté your ground chicken and chopped onions until the meat is no longer pink.
  3. While the chicken and onions cook, mix together all ingredients for the sauce.
  4. Once the chicken is cooked, add in the sauce.
  5. Stir until mixed well.
  6. Press cancel to turn off sauté mode.
  7. Close the Instant Pot with the lid and close the value.
  8. Turn on the Instant Pot on to High Pressure for 2 minutes.
  9. When the cooking has finished, allow the Instant Pot to naturally release for 10 minutes.
  10. While the chicken and sauce simmer, mix all ingredients in a small bowl and set aside.
  11. After 10 minutes, manually release.
  12. Unscrew the lid and remove it.
  13. Select cancel, and then sauté mode.
  14. Add in the chopped water chestnuts and allow the mixture to thicken and simmer for 5 minutes.
  15. After 5 minutes, add in the green onions.
  16. Stir well.
