Spooky Halloween Pretzels
These pretzel Halloween treats are easy to make with just a few simple ingredients so you could even let the kids come in to help with these pretzel monsters. The ingredients that you will need are candy melts, square pretzels, and candy eyeballs.
White Chocolate Candy Melts
If you aren’t familiar with candy melts, you can find them on Amazon, or at the craft store in the baking section with the cake pans and piping bags. This recipe calls for purple candy melts but if you wanted your monsters to be a different color or you already had some on hand you could use those as well.
You can also find candy eyes on Amazon or near Halloween in the baking section of your local craft store.
After the kids have washed their hands, let them place the pretzels on a parchment lined baking sheet. Once the pretzels have been laid out, you can have them place a candy melt on top of each pretzel.

Now you will need to pop the cookie sheet with the pretzels and candy melts in the preheated oven for just a minute or two until the candy wafers begin to melt.
Once the wafers have started to melt, take them out of the oven and then carefully place one candy eyeball on top. Now your Halloween pretzel treats will need to set so that the candy hardens on the pretzels and the candy eyes don’t slide off.
Allow them to harden at room temperature or slide the baking sheet into the fridge for an hour or so. As written the recipe will make 24 Halloween pretzels, but you could easily double or triple it, you will just need more candy melts and candy eyeballs.

Once the pretzel Halloween treats have hardened, if you aren’t eating them right away, they will need to be stored in an airtight container or Ziploc bag away from heat. If you put them anywhere too warm your candy melts and candy eyeballs may melt right off of your pretzels.
These cute Halloween pretzels are sure to be a salty sweet hit whether you just serve them to your family at home for a snack, or you serve them for a fun afternoon snack for the family or classroom Halloween celebration.
